        Purely local and indigenous National NGO in Tanzania operating to the grassroots level

        UMATI has strong collaboration and partnership with different stakeholders including the local government, CSOs and communities.

        UMATI has skilled, competent and committed staff for results based management and implementation.

        UMATI has 2 Directorates; Programmes and Finance. Departments/Programs include Youth program, Service delivery e.g. Clinics and Community based, HIV/AIDS, Advocacy and Monitoring & Evaluation.

        UMATI has standing financial Policy and regulations which facilitate control of its incomes and expenditures. For instance, each of its four administrative zones has a Finance and Administrative Officer who is skilled and recognized by the National Board of Accountants. These measures have increased UMATI credibility to different donors and development partners who have continued to fund and work with UMATI.

        UMATI has 11 SRHR clinics 7 Youth Centres and 10,486 community volunteers including young people volunteering through a network of Youth Action Movement (YAM).

        UMATI has key policy documents including Constitution; Strategic Plan (2016-2019), Human Resources Manual, Financial Regulations Manual and Procurement Manual.

        In all of its interventions UMATI has been advocating for Comprehensive friendly Sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services with a special attention to equity and equality.
